Kelly is a sessional academic at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, working at the intersection between photography, journalism, art, design and research.
Kelly believes in two core values, Wild & Free, for all beings on earth.
Wild. Like the ocean bountiful, beautiful, stunning and serene. Its deep blue is also thunderous, intense and at the mercy of no man. She seeks to live life within that inherent struggle, knowing no joy comes without effort, and beauty is not just reserved for places of perceived perfection, but also in tragedy and loss. The wild teaches us humility and reminds us of our humanity.
Free. Kelly deeply believes in freedom for all human beings. The freedom to learn, eat, pray, love and be loved in return. They should have access to the resources needed to allow this freedom and be given equal opportunity to it. Those of us privileged enough to have experienced true freedom must share it. It is free. It is for all.
